Our benefits
At Merchiston Castle School, we offer a range of benefits designed to support your well-being and work-life balance. You’ll enjoy 35 days of holiday per year, plus an extra two weeks off at Christmas when the school is closed.
While holidays are usually taken outside of term time, we provide flexibility to accommodate your needs. We also offer a generous pension scheme, with the school contributing the equivalent of 10% of your salary, while you only need to contribute a minimum of 5%.
In addition, we provide free, healthy school lunches during term time, along with free parking. Our Employee Benefit Scheme includes confidential support for both personal and professional matters, alongside access to a cycle-to-work scheme and discounted gym memberships to help you stay active.
